Recycled Pidge Scarf Pattern




You need:
Any old yarn you can get you hands on
Size 10 needles
Needle and thread
2 big buttons
Pins

Gauge: Who cares?

Abbreviations
BO=bind off
CO=cast on
k=knit
p=purl
SKP=slip knit pass
sl=slip
yo=yarn over

Cast on 30 stitches



Knit 3 rows



Change colors if you want



Row 4:*k1,p1* to the end



Row 5:*p1,k1* to the end



Row 6: Repeat row 4



Change colors if you want



Row 7: k2 *yo, sl1, k1, SKP* to the last four stitches, yo, SKP, k2



Row 8: Knit the whole row



Repeat rows 7 and 8 once



Change colors if you want



Knit 3 rows



Change colors if you want



Rows 14 and 15: *k2, p2* to the end



Rows 16 and 17: *p2, k2* to the end



Rows 18 and 19: Repeat rows 14 and 15



Change colors if you want



Repeat rows 1-19 'till piece measures 2 feet long



Next row: Knit across



Next row: k3, BO3, knit to last 6 stitches, BO3, k3



Next row: k3, CO3, knit to last 6 stitches, CO3, k3



Next row: Knit across



BO all stitches



Wrap scarf around you as shown:

and pin in place where you want the buttons.


Sew on your buttons.
